According to update page on Hyundai Canada website I should now, finally, have wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, but I don't. I attached here a screenshot from that update page (they even put an exclamation mark after it).

And it remains at 5 years/100,000 km without any reduction regardless of ownership. Hi there, We believed we satisfied all of the requirements to get a refund of our unused extended warranty, including a letter from the dealership that we have never submitted a warranty claim. Now they are asking for records of all work done on our car, at any garage, in the 8 years we've owned it.
Feb 28, 2023 · At 5 1/2 years old -- 2018 Tucson Silver paint is deeply faded on the spoiler, around roof rack and peeling paint around rear window. Took the car to the dealer and stated out of warranty, nothing they can do. The silver paint on my 15 year old car is better then the new Hyundai. I will never buy another Hyundai.
Apr 1, 2018 · I just purchased a 2017 Santa Fe sport 2.0T ultimate and very dissappointed that the previous owner didnt update the free software to apply carplay, I have notified Hyundai Canada and they apologize and said i will have to pay for it at $175 usd. which is highway robbery for carplay.
Jun 28, 2017 · dougmcp. Hyundai US and Canada are 2 separate entities and Canadian cars have no warranty in the US per se. If you need warranty work done in the US you must pay out of pocket and submit to Hyundai Canada for consideration of payment. I have a Canadian car and when I was at the dealer here in the US they could not confirm the car even existed.
