6 days ago · A-body and F-body Pontiacs generally use the S44 (aka 3R) u-joint. Chevrolet generally uses Spicer 1310/1330/1350 style u-joints. The u-joints should be the same front and rear unless the transmission slip yoke was changed to a Chevy 1310 style yoke and/or the differential was changed to a Chevy 10-bolt or 12-bolt which uses a 1310 u-joint.

Jul 1, 2024 · If a cap has a zerk in it the cross probably has a passage. It's pretty simple really. If there is a zerk in the cross or cap, grease it. If no zerk, they are non greasable unless you take them apart. If you replace a joint, install one with a zerk so it can be greased.
