May 12, 2024 · FLAC is 60% the size of the original file. Although, in most cases, you may not be able to hear the difference…with a high resolution system and good ears, the difference is there. My argument is twofold: 1) file size is not an issue these days so why compress. 2) once you convert to FLAC, there is no going back.

May 24, 2024 · The OG has over 100 hours and sounds better than the LIM with the NS5000. However, I am not sure if that is the DAC for the long-term. The OG sounds good with the LRS+ but the LIM is my preference. I moved the OG to my office and stacked it on top of the LIM. I put the OG with my RAAL VM-1a tube headphone amp.

However, since it's almost impossible to listen to all of them in the same environment, I'd like to narrow my selection by which ones technological sound good first. The specs for the cartridge are: Stylus: 0.3 x 2mil line-contact solid diamond stylus. Output voltage: 0.16mV. Coil impedance: 8 ohms.

May 9, 2024 · I started on Audiogon back in 2000 and have 63 completed transactions since then with never an issue. That said times are obviously different and it seems scams have gone up a lot since the pandemic. That said I'd buy from or sell to any longtime users on there with lots of feedback.
