Hoffman Estates is a village in Cook County, Illinois, United States. It is a suburb of Chicago. Per the 2020 census, the population was 52,530. The village now serves as the headquarters for Sears and one of the American headquarters for Mori Seiki. Now Arena, home of the Windy City Bulls of the NBA G League is part of the village.

Beginning in 1961, the first land north of the tollway was annexed to the Village of Hoffman Estates. Some 2,000 acres were annexed by 1962, including the areas that are now Winston Knolls, Westbury and the Paul Douglas Forest Preserve.
