May 31, 2024 · Craig Porter Jr. deserves a shot at a rotation spot. The on/off numbers between starters and reserves are much more drastic than expected. Part of that is injuries. But, there has also been a general lack of energy in those units. Porter Jr., for at least two games, solved the lack of energy issue.

Most of these are floaters being thrown up when he can’t get all the way to the rim and the passing lanes close. The attempts don’t always look bad, but it’s clear that Porter Jr. isn’t sure how to get some of these shots off against NBA length.
