Jun 28, 2024 · It sounds a bit brazen to complain about a free service but the new fret-calculator on the Stewmac website no longer includes saddle location or instrument selection. I have used it often for various scale lengths on ukuleles, mandolas and guitars.

Brand is important, a high-end Taylor or Martin will always be easier to sell on than a high-end Yamaha, even if the Yammie is a better guitar.
Hi! I was gifted this cbg yesterday by a good friend. It's fun to play around with, but unfortunately the octave is on the eleventh fret rather than the twelfth. Since the bridge is fixed, I feel stumped on how I'm supposed to correct the intonation and action. Any suggestions?
