Siobhán Cleary. Born in Dublin in 1970, Siobhán Cleary studied music at NUI Maynooth, Queen’s University Belfast and Trinity College Dublin. She attended composition courses in Italy, France and Poland where her tutors included Franco Donatoni and Louis Andriessen.
Siobhán Cleary is a composer of orchestral music, film scores, electronica and opera. She has received commissions from RTÉ, Crash Ensemble, the National Symphony Orchestra, Irish Chamber Orchestra, among many others. Her works have been broadcast and performed widely worldwide.
