Joel Betts is a contestant from Australian Survivor (2002).
Joel was initially on the minority on Tipara, thinking that there were not any alliances. However, after successfully Pagonging the Kadina tribe, he was blindsided when Lance Brooks was voted off. In self-preservation, he made a deal with Rob Dickson and Sciona Browne to take him to the final three, and in return, he will throw the Final Immunity Challenge. The plan went through, and he was voted out by Rob just one day before the Final Tribal Council.
