Untamed Heart is a 1993 American romantic drama film directed by Tony Bill, written by Tom Sierchio, and starring Christian Slater and Marisa Tomei. It tells the story of an unlikely romance between a young woman unlucky in love and a shy young man who has a heart defect.
Tom Sierchio is a novelist and screenwriter whose work includes the feature films, "Untamed Heart" and "The Girl Who Invented Kissing" which he also directed. To date he has written over 50 screenplays, thirteen teleplays, two novels and numerous short stories.
