Taran Davies is a film producer and director best known for his documentary film Afghan Stories (2002), and the IMAX feature documentary Journey to Mecca (2009).
Taran Davies is the son of American and British parents, and has lived in both the United States and the United Kingdom. He has attended both Eton College and Harvard University. He graduated from Harvard in 1993. He created his first film documentary film in 1994, called "Around the Sacred Sea".
