Britta H. Sjogren (born December 21, 1958) is an independent filmmaker and academic.
Sjogren is author of a book of film theory that reassesses subjectivity, the female voice and sound in film: Into the Vortex: Female Voice and Paradox in Film. She co-founded the production company Dire Wolf in 2007.
Britta Sjogren is known for In This Short Life (2005), A Small Domain (1996) and Jo-Jo at the Gate of Lions (1992).

Jo-Jo at the Gate of Lions is the first feature film written and directed by Britta Sjogren. It premiered in dramatic competition at the 1993 Sundance Film Festival and subsequently was featured in several film festivals.
