Paul Voorthuysen ( Callantsoog, 9 maart 1962) is een Nederlands producent van films en televisieseries. Loopbaan. Voorthuysen studeerde economie aan Universiteit van Amsterdam en bedrijfskunde aan de Technische Universiteit Delft. Hierna volgde hij diverse seminars en opleidingen op filmgebied.
Oprichter Paul Voorthuysen was eerder verantwoordelijk voor bekroonde films als Oeroeg, When the Light Comes en Mijn Vader woont in Rio. Op dit moment wordt gewerkt aan Mees Kees op eigen benen , een splinternieuwe Superjuffie film, Speurneuzen , Rats on the Run en Mr Witch .
