Bernard Gerrit "Burny" Bos (8 April 1944 – 1 December 2023) was a Dutch film producer, scenarist and children's book writer. He also worked as an actor in children's programmes on radio and television.

Dec 2, 2023 · Burny Bos, the man behind film successes such as Abeltje, Minoes, Dolfje werewolfje, has died in his hometown of Amsterdam. Bos had been suffering from cancer for a long time. Working on the dream of bringing Dikkie Dik to the silver screen seemed to do him good.
