Robert B. Sherman (1925-2012) was a prolific and acclaimed songwriter and composer, best known for his collaborations with his brother Richard and Disney. He wrote songs for Mary Poppins, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, The Jungle Book and many other films, as well as novels, poems and plays.
