SANTA MONICA, Calif., Dec. 14 (UPI) Richard Whorf, the stage, screen and television actor and director, died of a heart attack at St. John's Hospital here today. He was 60 years old.
Richard Whorf was a director and actor, known for Yankee Doodle Dandy (1942), Blues in the Night (1941) and The Beverly Hillbillies (1962). He was also the brother of linguist Benjamin Whorf and a Tony Award-winning costume designer.
