Larry Gross (born 1953) is an American screenwriter, and producer. He is a visiting professor of film and new media at New York University Abu Dhabi. Best known for his collaborations with Walter Hill, his credits include 48 Hrs. (1982), Streets of Fire (1984), and uncredited contributions to Ralph Bakshi's Cool World (1992).
Larry Groce (born April 22, 1948) is an American singer-songwriter and radio host. From 1983 until 2021, Groce served as the host and artistic director of Mountain Stage, a two-hour live music radio program produced by West Virginia Public Broadcasting and distributed by NPR.
Gross was the Sol Worth Professor of Communication and deputy dean of the Ivy League university’s Annenberg School for Communication. Gross, who holds degrees from Brandeis University and Columbia University, became a faculty member at the University of Pennsylvania in 1968.
