Imagi Animation Studios, also known as Imagi Studios, was an animation and visual effects studio based in Hong Kong, and established in 2000 by Imagi International Holdings Limited (SEHK: 585), a Hong Kong-based investment company.
Since 2016, IMAGI had changed its core business from production, distribution and marketing of computer graphic imaging ("CGI") animation motion pictures, and commercial exploration of intellectual properties to investment holdings and integrated financial services (“Integrated Financial Services”).
IMAGI, being the owner of the intellectual property rights of feature film “Astro Boy” and TV series “Zentrix” and work-in-progress film “Cat Tale”, had developed proprietary animation content with strategy to drive related consumer product licensing and education business.
Imagi Studios was a CGI company from Hong Kong, formed in 2000 as the animated feature film division of Hong Kong-based investment company, Imagi International Holdings Limited, with their first project being the 2000 animated series Zentrix.
