ITV Wales and West, previously known as Harlech Television (HTV), was an ITV franchisee in the United Kingdom until 31 December 2013, licensed to broadcast by the regulator Ofcom. There is no channel, past or present, named "ITV Wales and West".
ITV Cymru Wales is the ITV franchise for Wales. The new separate licence began on 1 January 2014, replacing the long-serving dual franchise region ITV Wales & West serving Wales and the West of England, which had previously used the branding "ITV Wales" within the Wales subregion.

On 14 January 1958, the St Hilary transmitter in the Vale of Glamorgan opened and Television Wales and the West (TWW) began to transmit ITV network and regional programmes to south Wales and the west of England.
A stopgap service, named the Independent Television Service for Wales and the West, was established. Broadcasting from TWW’s former Pontcanna studios in Cardiff and staffed by ex-TWW employees, this interim service operated until Harlech (later rebranded as HTV) was prepared to assume its franchise responsibilities early, on May 20, 1968.
