This coming Sunday sees the first installment of The Promise, a new four-part drama on Channel Four, with music by composer Debbie Wiseman. Directed by Peter Kosminsky, The Promise tells of a British girl's emotional journey retracing her grandfather's footsteps in Israel/Palestine, where he was stationed as a soldier in the 1940s.
