  1. Dots and Loops is the fifth studio album by English-French rock band Stereolab. It was released on 22 September 1997 and was issued by Duophonic Records and Elektra Records. The band co-produced the album with John McEntire and Andi Toma, and recording took place at their respective studios in Chicago and Düsseldorf.

  3. In the case of Dots and Loops the first part was recorded in Chicago with John McEntire and the second part was recorded in Düsseldorf with Jan Warner and Andi Toma of Mouse on Mars. The song was recorded with Jan and Andi and remains one of my absolute favourite Stereolab tracks.
