María Herminia Pérez de León, better known as Mimí Derba (9 October 1893 – 14 July 1953) was a Mexican actress, screenwriter, and film director, considered the first female film director in Mexico.

After 1917 and until her death in 1953, Mimí Derba starred in over seventy Mexican silent and sound films. In addition, she established her name as a writer, publishing short essays in various magazines and collecting an anthology of these writings in a volume titled Realidades, published in 1921.
Mimí Derba (1893–1953) was a Mexican actress and the first female director in Mexico. Derba founded one of the very first Mexican production companies, Azteca Films. She had a successful career in Vaudeville before entering films.
