Harry Landis (born Hyman Jacob Londinsky, 25 November 1926 – 11 September 2022) was a British actor and theatre director. [4] [5] He had a long career in theatre, film and television, spanning over 60 years.
Harry Landis was an English character actor of Polish parentage, born in impoverished circumstances in the Jewish East End of London. As a youngster, he worked a variety of short-lived jobs, including in a café pouring tea, as a window cleaner and as a milkman.
