George "Tiger" Haynes (December 13, 1914 - February 14, 1994), sometimes billed as Colonel Tiger Haynes, was an American actor of musical theatre, television and film and jazz musician. He was born in Frederiksted, St. Croix, and moved to New York when he was a boy.
Tiger Haynes (1907-1994) was a versatile performer who appeared in films, TV shows and musicals. He was best known for his role as the Tinman in the 1975 Broadway hit "The Wiz" and his guitar skills in "Cry Me a River".
