José Jiménez Fernández, dit Joselito, né le 11 février 1943 à Beas de Segura ( Andalousie ), est un chanteur prodige espagnol des 1957 - 1965. Au début de sa carrière, ainsi qu'en témoignent les titres de ses premiers films, il était surnommé El Ruiseñor ( « Le Rossignol » ), ou encore El niño de la voz de oro ( « le garçon à la voix d'or » ).
Discovered as a singer by Luis Mariano, who got him to perform in France, Joselito was introduced to the movie business in 1956 by Antonio del Amo, who directed him in his first feature, El pequeño ruiseñor (1957) ("The Little Nightingale"), where he earned his famous nickname.
