Charles Dawson Butler (November 16, 1916 – May 18, 1988), professionally known as Daws Butler, was an American voice actor. He worked mostly for the Hanna-Barbera animation production company and the Walter Lantz cartoon studio.
Daws Butler was a prolific and versatile voice-over actor who created many iconic cartoon characters, such as Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound, Snagglepuss and Elroy Jetson. He also worked in radio, comedy records and commercials, and trained many young actors in his workshop.
