Aug 2, 2021 · Andrew Hoy has become Australia's oldest Olympic medallist at age 62 after winning a silver and bronze in the equestrian competition in his eighth Games appearance.
At the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo he became the oldest athlete representing Australia to win a medal at the Olympic Games. At age 62 he claimed bronze in the individual eventing competition and silver in the team competition. The Games were his eighth, a record for an Australian at the Olympic Games from any sport.
