Founded in 1898, it amalgamated in 1962 with Bromley College of Art and Beckenham School of Art to form Ravensbourne College of Art and Design, now Ravensbourne University London .

Jan 16, 2019 · Richards’s alma mater was Sidcup Art College, which may sound comically unprepossessing but was part of a network of suburban institutions across the country each fostering several generations of talented layabouts destined never to threaten Duchamp, Picasso or Bacon but who certainly gave Lulu and the Bay City Rollers a run for their money.
The school offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including fine art, graphic design, illustration, and textiles, among others. The curriculum at Sidcup Art College is designed to give students the skills, knowledge, and experience they need to succeed in the competitive world of art and design.
