Peter Andrew Buffett (born May 4, 1958) is an American musician, composer, author and philanthropist. With a career that spans more than 30 years, Buffett is a Regional Emmy Award winner, New York Times best-selling author and co-chair of the NoVo Foundation.
Peter began his professional musical career in the early 1980s in San Francisco, recording and producing albums for local talent and composing for commercials. In 1987, he released his first album, The Waiting with Narada Productions.

He attended Omaha Central High School and Stanford University and began his musical career in the early 1980s in San Francisco. He recorded and produced albums and composed commercials for cable.
