Jul 12, 2002 · Halloween: Resurrection is a 2002 horror film and the eighth installment in the Halloween franchise, as well as the final entry in the H20 Timeline. Directed by Rick Rosenthal, who had also directed Halloween II (1981), Halloween: Resurrection was then followed by 2007's Halloween reboot.
On October 31, 2001, still in captivity, Laurie, pretending to be heavily medicated, prepares herself for the inevitable confrontation with Michael. Michael appears at the hospital and kills two security guards by decapitating one and slitting the throat of the other before going after Laurie.
