Eleventh grade (also known as 11th Grade, Grade 11 or Junior year) is the eleventh year of formal or compulsory education. It is typically the third year of high school (and is the final year in some countries). Students in eleventh grade are usually 16–17 years of age.
The 11th-grade curriculum focuses on critical thinking, effective communication, and technology applications (software), as well as reinforces core concepts found in English, math (Algebra I & II), science, and social studies.

- Register for the PSAT. The PSAT is offered in October of each year, and you will need to register through your school. While it used to be referred to as the Preliminary SAT, it is now simply the PSAT and often serves as your first exposure to formal standardized tests.
