The Boss (1956) is a loveless marriage mean-ass mob boss epic biopic historical tale of cynical criminal cruelty, manipulation and lavish corrupt money making and spending, spanning the early to mid years of the twentieth century.
After Tim passes away from a heart attack, Matt assumes control of the political machine, his influence eventually reaching across the entire state. However, his ruthlessness and mob ties bode ill for his political survival. The Boss (1956) is based on the historic figure of Thomas J. Pendergast (1872-1945).
