It was dubbed in English and titled The Curious Adventures of Mr. Wonderbird,. The earliest mention of a screening is in the Buffalo Courier Express, on December 22nd, 1956, being screened at the Paramount Theatre.
Mr. Wonderbird protects two lovers who escape from an evil king who wants the girl for himself. Exceptional animation for all ages, notable for its visually stunning, expressionistic graphic detail. The English-language dubbing features the voices of Peter Ustinov, Claire Bloom, and Denholm Elliott.
