A Cab for Three (Spanish: Taxi para tres) is a 2001 Chilean crime comedy-drama film directed by Orlando Lubbert. It was Chile's submission to the 74th Academy Awards for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film, but was not accepted as a nominee. In the film, two criminals rob a taxi driver.

One can see why a family man becomes tempted by the get rich quick option of small robberies when his family live in such poverty (his son asks for coca-cola, and is told thats too expensive, theres only tap-water. This family cannot buy into the capitalist dream and are swept away.
