Noza, a young Latina from the barrio, hooks up with Derek, a White street racer from the Inland Empire. What follows is many languid, dissolve-heavy scenes of them looking into each other's eyes, in between scenes of Derek and his buddies hanging out, fixing up their rides, taking them out for late night bouts of quarter-mile life-living.
