A Very Entertaining Performance of Rare Tennessee Williams. eflaspo 4 September 2006. I had never heard of this play when I saw the DVD on the shelf. So I got it, took it home, and watched it.
This televised play starring Martin Sheen is possibly the only filmed performance of this precursor to the complete version of Tennessee Williams' Camino Real; the surreal play which is said to be about the author struggling with his fear of aging and impending irrelevance.
