Synopsis. Tony Gunther, an American merchant seaman, decides to leave his ship when it docks in Sydney, Australia, and he is given a farewell party on the wharf. The party ends in a brawl in which a sailor named Swede is thrown overboard and Tony is knocked unconscious with a bottle.
