David Rees (born June 15, 1969 in Seattle, Washington) is an American-Canadian musician and television editor currently based in Montreal, Quebec. Rees played drums in the punk rock band SNFU and the alternative rock band Wheat Chiefs, and served for a time as the touring drum tech for Bad Religion.

Dave Rees’ career in cross-country skiing covers a span of over fifty years as an athlete, coach, official and administrator. Dave grew up as a “four way” skier, competing in cross country, jumping, slalom and downhill ski events.
Dave has competed at 15 Masters World Cups, starting at the 1984 event in Holmenkollen, Norway. In 2009 the World Masters was held in Autrans, France, the site of nordic events for the 1968 Olympic Winter Games, at which Dave was a competitor on the Canadian team.
