    Michelle Cobbs is an American indemand session singer, whose work has included performing with Duran Duran.

    Cobbs was a member of Chic between the years 1979-1982, a band featuring the musicians Tony Thompson, Bernard Edwards and Nile Rodgers who all later worked on the Power Station project and Rodgers also produced for Duran Duran. The Chic albums Cobbs performed on include Risque and Tongue in Chic.

    During the 1980s, Cobbs sang backing vocals on many albums, including Roxy Music's The High Life and Sister Sledge's Seiko. She was also featured on albums by The Fat Boys, Candie Staton and performed with Duran Duran on The Sing Blue Silver Tour.
