Chance in a Million is a British sitcom broadcast between 10 September 1984 and 1 December 1986, produced by Thames Television for the fledgling Channel 4 as part of its early homegrown programming. The series was co-written by Andrew Norriss and Richard Fegen and starred Simon Callow and Brenda Blethyn .
Chance in a Million. Tom Chance's life is filled with coincidences, leading to his meeting Alison and frequent wrongful arrests. Despite evidence, the Police Sergeant instructs officers not to arrest him due to the pattern of coincidences.
