Samurai Jack is an American animated action-adventure dystopian television series created by Genndy Tartakovsky for Cartoon Network and Adult Swim. The show is produced by Cartoon Network Studios. Tartakovsky conceived Samurai Jack after finishing his work on his first Cartoon Network original series, Dexter's Laboratory, which premiered in 1996.
Our story starts long ago, as the young prince of Japan ( Phil LaMarr) witnesses the shapeshifting demon Aku ( Mako) emerge into the world and lay waste to his home. With the help of his mother, the boy escapes and spends his life training rigorously with warriors from around the world.
After being sent into the future by evil wizard Aku, young samurai Jack makes a quest to return to the past and undo the destruction caused by the wizard.
