The deadline for the conversion of analog television to digital in mandatory markets was August 31. CKCO-TV became CKCO-DT on that date and continued to use channel 13 (virtual channel 13.1). The CRTC approved a change to the ownership of Bell Media Inc., from BCE Inc. to Bell Canada.
