BBC Earth is a documentary subscription television channel featuring premium factual programming. The channel is wholly owned and operated by BBC Studios. Originally set to roll out internationally in 2014, [1] it was later announced that it would launch in 2015, [2] starting in Poland. [3]
BBC Earth is the official channel of well-known Sir David Attenborough series such as Planet Earth, Frozen Planet and Blue Planet II.
1. Inferno. 1 hour. Explores one of the darkest periods in Earth’s history: the worst mass extinction the planet has ever seen, when as much as 90% of all species died. 2. Snowball. 1 hour. 800 million years ago, the giant supercontinent Rodinia breaks up.
Series premiere on April 7 at 10 pm, new episodes every week until May 12. Chris Packham uses the latest science to explore some of the most important moments in the Earth's billions of years of history.
