I have been a full-time author since 1995. I am a former President of the British Science Fiction Association (2008-2020), and a Vice-President of the HG Wells Society. My science fiction novels have been published in the UK, the US, and in many other countries including Germany, Japan, France.
Stephen Baxter is a trained engineer with degrees from Cambridge (mathematics) and Southampton Universities (doctorate in aeroengineering research). Baxter is the winner of the British Science Fiction Award and the Locus Award, as well as being a nominee for an Arthur C. Clarke Award, most recently for Manifold: Time.
