Eton College (⫽ ˈ iː t ən ⫽ ⓘ) is a public school (fee-charging and boarding for secondary school age boys) in Eton, Berkshire, England. It was founded in 1440 by Henry VI under the name Kynge's College of Our Ladye of Eton besyde Windesore , [4] [5] making it the 18th-oldest school in the Headmasters' and Headmistresses' Conference (HMC).
If you are a prospective parent and would like to be booked onto a visit to Eton College, please contact our Admissions Team (01753 370611). We usually run Admissions tours twice a week throughout term time, all in the afternoon.
Boarding. Book an Admissions tour. Boys are thrown together in groups of 10 or 11 as 13-year-olds, and they grow up together over the next five intense and action-packed years. Friendships built up during this period will last for the whole of a person’s life.
The school fee includes tuition, board, lodging, and the cost of most games activities and the majority of educational materials. In addition, boys incur variable extras, e.g. charges for music lessons, optional insurances, boat club membership and school trips.
Eton College is a full boarding school for boys with 1,344 pupils, situated next to the historic town of Windsor, Berkshire. It was founded in 1440 by King Henry VI.
