Aug 10, 2010 · Harvey Kahn, preeminent American folk art collector and representative for commercial illustrators and photographers, died Friday, July 30, at the age of 86.
Harvey Kahn has been an independent producer for more than 25 years. With a degree in History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, he began his career in Washington, DC as a journalist covering issue-driven political campaigns, and later headed to Los Angeles to become the first Director of Publicity for the Disney Channel.
As the son of Emmy-winning producer Harvey Kahn and artist Holly Collins, Rowen grew up in the arts and on film sets learning from master filmmakers and technicians. He has worked and trained extensively in many areas of show business along the way.
