Connect Health was founded in 2011 by two Medical Doctors, Dr. Lawrence Cheng and Dr. Ashley Riskin. The inspiration for this clinic arose during their time working in conventional medicine as emergency physicians.

His training includes Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine at UBC, a Masters in Public Health Studies at Harvard, and a Fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona with Dr. Andrew Weil.
