Apr 5, 2013 · A dedicated cult following has allowed the group to perform continuously for more than six decades. The current incarnation of the Four Freshmen — Brian Eichenberger, Curtis Calderon, Vince Johnson, and Bob Ferreira — is the 22nd in their history and has been together since 2001.
The Four Freshmen - Bob Ferreira. Singing fourth part and playing drums, Ferreira began his life of music in high school playing drums in a rock band and subsequently joined his high school chamber choir and vocal jazz ensemble in Bothell, Washington.
Taking their places were Bob Ferreira, a student of former member Kirk Marcy at the Edmonds College who auditioned for the group at Marcy's recommendation, and Kevin Stout, a freelance jazz trombonist in Las Vegas. Ferreira handled drums and bass vocals, while Stout played guitar, bass and trombone.

Feb 28, 2014 · Ferreira is a link to the original group via Bob Flanigan, a founding member of The Four Freshmen, who retired in 1993 and passed away in 2011. By most counts, this is the group's 23d edition, and 24 musicians have passed through in more or less 60 years of existence.
