These collection schedules are for residential units above commercial establishments that receive weekly waste and recycling service from the City of Toronto. There are four schedules for daytime collection and four schedules for night collection.

Residential Garbage Collection. All items must be set out at curbside on your scheduled collection night after 6 p.m. and before 9 p.m. Set out times apply to both bin and bag tag collection. Set Out: Each bin/bag/item cannot weigh more than 20 kg (44 lbs) or it will not be collected.
Excess Garbage. Excess garbage beyond what fits in your bin with the lid closed, must be bagged, tagged and set out beside your Garbage Bin for collection. Garbage Tags are available for purchase online and at Toronto Shoppers Drug Mart and Canadian Tire locations.
Report a missed collection: If your garbage was not picked up on your scheduled day, you can report a missed collection to the City of Toronto by calling 311 or submitting a service request online. Be sure to provide your address and the date of the missed collection.
CURBSIDE COLLECTION Your Green Bin, Blue Bin, Garbage Bin, yard waste and oversized items must be set out no later than 7 a.m. and no earlier than 8 p.m. the night before your scheduled collection day.
