Early Life
Lucas grew up in Connecticut as part of the Shepherd family.Despite pressure from his family, he didn't want to become a doctor until he was in a bad car accident his junior year of college, which gave him a new appreciation for the doctors who saved his life.
Internship at Grey Sloan
The day after a tornado hit Seattle, Lucas started off his internship at Grey Sloan. He first met his fellow interns Jules Millin, Mika Yasuda, and Benson Kwan in the locker room and greeted them.
