Marvel TL;DR was thought up by Noah Sterling when he was an intern at Marvel. During his internship in 2015 he created a short fan video that gave a comedic recap of Infinity War. Marvel's Digital Media Group noticed the cartoon and approached Noah to work on developing his concept into an official show. Noah continued to write, direct, and narrate the actual show.
The show was originally launched on November 11, 2016 with the release of the What is Planet Hulk? episode. The first season released episodes every Friday for 10 weeks. In its early days, the show was worked on by a team of 5 people under the direction of Noah Sterling. By season 3 in 2018, that number had grown to a team of 30.
•The original video that Noah Sterling created which inspired Marvel to let him create the TL;DR series has since been taken down from its original upload location of YouTube, and the script for it was used to create an official Marvel TL;DR episode about the Infinity War. The video has been archived and can be found on Archive.org.
